In its standard configuration, the Big Multiplex Ski from VÖGELE works with three multi-cell sonic sensors that transfer their measuring results directly to the Niveltronic Plus automatic leveling system. The system then uses these data to calculate a virtual reference level. The advantage of this is that the measuring results cover an overall length of up to 13 meters.
The variable mechanical height sensor from VÖGELE can utilized in a variety of combinations. It can be equipped with skis with lengths of 30 cm, 1 m, or 2 m for referencing from ground, or a bow can be fitted for referencing with a tensioned wire.
The grade and slope control and screed paver operator's consoles can used to monitor the actual and nominal grade and slope control values as well as to operate the basic functions of the screed.
During grade and slope control, a variety of sensors from VÖGELE ensure that the actual values are accurately scanned. Sonic sensors, the Big MultiPlex Ski, slope sensors and mechanical grade sensors all play an extremely important role in achieving perfect asphalt paving.
