Wire mesh for prescreening units and secondary screening units

Screen linings are put to a tough test in everyday use. In order to permanently and reliably ensure that material is screened to the desired final grain size, KLEEMANN uses screen linings made of special wear-resistant stainless steel spring wire or round wires.

The double anchoring at the cross-over points gives these a large mesh strength for uniform screening.

Selection of mesh sizes for required particle sizes

The screening result is determined by a variety of factors. The most important factors include the shape of the particles, the moisture content and the feed volume. The table provides guidelines for the selection of the appropriate mesh size range for particle sizes standard in the EU.

The screening angle reduces the mesh size (MS) to the projected size. For well-defined screening, the screen opening should therefore always be slightly larger than the particle size required.

During the configuration of a double-deck prescreening unit, the ratio of screening upper deck to screening lower deck should not exceed 4:1 to prevent a reduction in the service life of the lower deck screen.

What is our wire mesh made of?

Screen mesh type: square mesh from spring steel wires

Square mesh is made of wear-resistant and vibration-resistant spring steel wires.

Special weaving measures during the production of vibrating screens achieve the benefit of equal loading of the round wires at the crossing points, a fixed wire position and a uniform mesh size.
