Chain, bucket elevator, gear ring | Hot bucket elevator
The hot bucket elevator’s enclosed, compact steel structure with an internal conveyor mechanism conveys the material vertically up onto the asphalt mixing plant. A high-performance, shaft-mounted geared motor reliably drives the dual-strand, double drag link conveyor chain. For service and maintenance purposes, the geared motor is equipped with a chain anti-reverse mechanism and a key transfer system on the elevator foot. High discharge heights and conveying capacities as well as material temperatures of 400 °C require regular visual inspections or the replacement of wearing parts with genuine BENNINGHOVEN spare parts.
