The mixer is the heart of an asphalt mixing plant. This is where the mineral is intensively mixed with the binding agent and filler to form a homogeneous mass. Due to the high loads in terms of wear, weight and power transmission, mixers are built using only materials of the highest quality. The mixing trough of the twin-shaft pugmill is lined with special cast iron. The bolts used to secure the inner panels are accessible from the outside of the unit to make maintenance and service easier. A rotary slide is used to open or close the mixer’s outlet flaps via two pneumatic cylinders.

S-shaped trough panels – it’s the shape that makes the difference:
Spot and surface wear is interrupted at the joints, thus ensuring the panels enjoy a longer service life thanks to the S-shape.
Individual panels can be easily replaced
The ability to replace the individual wear zones, which are divided into panels, cuts costs.
Ergonomic handling
The individual panels feature an ideal size and weight for easy handling.
Maximum wear protection
The panels are made from a special alloy for maximum wear protection and a long mixer service life.
Optimal accessibility
The panels are mounted using countersunk bolts, providing an excellent and secure hold with optimal accessibility from the outside.
