The WIRTGEN milling drum housing contains the heart of your machines: the milling drum fitted with cutting tools.

Scraper
Original WIRTGEN scrapers not only seal the milling chamber so that the milled material can be conveyed away cleanly, but also smooth the milled surface. Type 1 scrapers are optimised to slide as smoothly as possible over the milled surface when scraping. In contrast, the modified shape, profile and position of the carbide in the type 2 version leads to a stronger scraping effect.
