Racetracks, highways and motorways: The Big MultiPlex Ski from VÖGELE always comes into play whenever absolute evenness in the longitudinal direction is essential and no absolute grade reference is available. In the standard configuration, three multi-cell sonic sensors can be attached to its variable 5 to 13 m-long beam. This enables the Big MultiPlex Ski to simultaneously scan a reference at several appropriately spaced points.
VÖGELE’s Auto Grade Plus system for automated grade and slope control calculates mean values from the data of the entire sampled area and uses them for the compensation of even the longest surface irregularities. In this way, the system operates with much greater precision than, for example, an individual single-cell or multi-cell sensor.
